How a Lesson Runs
Your class is 45 minutes with the same female trainer each time, in a small batch of women at a similar level, or one to one if you prefer to start privately.
The session opens with a few minutes of easy conversation about your week. Nothing prepared, because prepared answers hide the hesitation we are trying to work on. Your trainer then introduces the language for the day, which might be a set of phrases, a tense as people actually use it in speech, or a sound that keeps tripping you up.
Then you practise it out loud in a situation you would really face. Speaking to a teacher, explaining something to a child, making a phone call, greeting a relative visiting from abroad. Your trainer corrects you while you are speaking rather than at the end.
You leave with one small task for the day. Ten minutes, not an hour. Nobody has an hour.
